At the moment, there is one of these marketers selling a brand new product. He won't divulge any details (not even the price) until you sign an NDA and fax this along with proof of ID !!!
A clever marketing ploy? Or not?
As for those overly long sales letters - absolutely awful. If possible I try not to purchase from them. It only seems to be marketers who use them though. I've never seen such a thing on a normal sales site (whether Amazon, or a mom'n'pop business)...
