Default Learned an Important Lesson - Don't Chase $, Follow Passion

I learnd an important lesson that I wanted to share with people here - and hopefully it isn't off topic

A few months ago I started did some keyword research, discovered a niche that was interesting, had potential, had high-paying keywords and thought I was going to get rich! Or at least a few dollars here and there to let me go to the movies and order a hotdog instead of having to sneak snacks inside hidden in my pocket or my wife's purse.

What I learned was that if you don't have the passion then the posts just won't follow.

So, I switched gears from my high-paying site to focus on a travel blog for guys / mancations. That blog is slowly growing and is averaging a 100 people a day, was averaging 200+ and peaked about 1,000 because of a single article who's even has now passed on.

But I think this is really an important lesson that most new bloggers don't understand. It isn't enough to want to make money, you have to have someth worthwile to write about that you are passionate about - that will bring you money or other rewards.

So, now I am going to introduce my new blog:

Man Trip, Guys Weekend, and Mancation Ideas, Tips, and Articles

Anyone with a travel or man related blog is welcome to contact me and exchage links

Also, I launched a second blog, this time about Internet Marketing that is purely a platform for me to write about stuff and also promote our free marketing seminars that we offer out of our offce. Again, I dumped the blog for money mentality and blogged for passion - in the few weeks since I started that (and took advertising off) I have already gained a new client, and several leads ... who cares about $0.60 cents when you have have $6,000!

That blog is: Growing Your Small Business by Integrating Online Marketing Communications Efforts
