By plugin I'm guessing you mean
WordPress plugin? If so then I have just done an interview with a plugin developer called Antonie Potgieter of Tribulant Software, he has a brilliant newsletter plugin for WordPress. It's not free, but it is good, and yes I have used it myself on some of my sites.
