Just a quick heads up in case you didn't see my blog posts about. I've officially launched the Blog Traffic School Pre-Launch blog to track the launch of my new online course.

You can check it out here -

If anyone has any feedback I'm all ears!

Yaro, have you thought about whether you are spreading yourself a bit thin ?

I've noticed the quality of your blogs have gone downhill in recent weeks (though it is still good quality, not as great as it has been)...

Yaro,

Your 2 links back to this site at the top of the blogtrafficschool.com welcome article. Any reason you decided not to have them open in a new browser window? In most cases I find it easier as a user if new pages open in new windows. That way if I get lost following links, I can always find where I started.

As far as burty's wondering about the quality of the posts: both the Paypal and the marketing with butterflies posts were great. Both on subjects that I will be looking at (hopfully) in a few months.

Keep up the great work
James

I actually prefer websites to not open new windows. If I wanted a new window, I'd use my browser to open one. When I click a link normally, I expect it to replace the page that I am on.

I know he wrote about it more recently to say things haven't changed, but this was the first Jakob Nielson article I could find that mentioned it:

Regarding the new windows - I used to have forced new windows open but then I decided to go with the majority and let the user decide if they want to open links in new windows. It's usually better to have the end user have the choice rather than force one.

Regarding the quality of my blog posts - I certainly admit I have not had as much time to focus on Entrepreneur's Journey and especially Small Business Branding as I would like. I hope once I finish writing the blog traffic course I can use SBB as my own case study in growing blog traffic and work with all the students taking the course on my own blog at the same time.

My priority, and I think at the moment, my best work, is going into Blog Traffic School. That's where my passion right now so that gets the focus. I won't stop blogging at E-J or SBB during this time but I definitely can't maintain the flow of content as I did previously.

April is also the busiest month for BetterEdit so yeah, I guess I have my hands full.

Although I love writing for E-J and I would do it all day if I could, it just doesn't make much money for me so I have to spend time on the projects that do and the projects that hopefully will in the future.

It's all good fun and to be honest the main customer I worry about satisfying is me (sorry everyone), and I'm enjoying the journey at the moment a lot so it's all good. I'm learning so much about information marketing by launching my own product. It's great stuff.
