Using Google's sitemap submission system is a great way to get your full site indexed and kept up to date within Google.
If you run a WordPress blog then you Arne Brachhold has created a plugin that you can use that automatically generates the appropriate XML for Google sitemaps. You can check it out here - Google Sitemap Generator for WordPress v2 Final
