I only took a very brief look at it, but here are my initial impressions:

First, it looks like every other blogspot site out there. I recommend playing with the theme to get something a little more unique (if possible through blogspot)...more importantly, though, I recommend getting off of blogspot to begin with. It is better to do that now before you are even a year old and haven't got as much search engine traction. Your own domain name and hosting will give you a lot more options.

Second, you do not seem to have monetized it at all. I recommend at least putting in affiliate links to amazon that leads to the specific books you mention. This can make you a (tiny) bit of pocket change, and more importantly can bring your readers directly to the books that you recommend so that they do not have to go searching for them. It makes more sense from a usability perspective.

Third, I recommend you do a little more promoting of the site. Start commenting on other peoples sites. You do not have very many back links in google, and very few of your pages are even indexed.

I like the links you recommend on your sidebar. They seem relevant to your topic, and I've seen a couple of those before so they are probably good resources for your readers.

I just tried to leave a comment on your blog and the page wouldn't finish loading...

so, you're using a beta (not yet fully tested) comment thingy from blogger

I also run some health related blogspot blogs and was thinking of trading links with you

a three way link, for example, you link to blog A, I add your link to blog B... that way they are one way links
