Hi,

I just wonder why I still cannot bring more traffic to my blog. I already added my blog to few blog rank websitez. I also promote my blog to other blog as well... Maybe somebody can tell me why... should I promote my site again, or should I increase my blog content, or should I reduce the advertisment in my blog... Please give some advice for me ok...

Simple answer - focus on providing more value for your readers. That will always get you more traffic than anything else and if you don't do that, your effort to build traffic in other ways is wasted.

Don't give up...keep working. Write interesting and useful posts and work on blog promotion each and every day. If you keep at it, it will payoff.

Default Did you try this before?

I think that once you move to wordpress (get the self-hosted version!) you'd start getting better results.

I once used blogger/blogspot too. Now I'm with WP.

Things changed tremendously.

Folks who started to use WP experienced a lot more benefits/results, sincerely.

You can't compare WP with Blogger, do you?

I do not agree with that, all that matters is great content. Here are some immensely successful bloggers who use blogger platform.

i use blogger for my blog

i had a wordpress blog but i did not like wp that much so i deleted it
maybe in the near future i may venture back into a wp blog

The key to increase traffic is set a certain amount of posts that you will do daily and ping your blog. Also make sure what you write is worth reading and coming back and back again.

While changing to wordpress about a year ago played some part I believe. I believe in played a part in the credibility field. Our readers are smart and credibility means a lot. A professional looking blog can go a long way. Now, I had the same problem for the longest time. I had a blog, but no real traffic.

Until, I did exactly what Yaro said. I started focusing on content and boy did it help. Do I get tons of traffic? Nope, but I get a lot better than I used to and the numbers go up a little each day. Its all about value and what can you give the readers. Why should they visit your site compared to someone elses it. People love good articles and good information. Increase that and I think you will notice the results I noticed. Increased Traffic

Thanks,

Default The Truth

I just had a look at your blog and to be truthful it looks nice but lots of silly bits that turned me off. I am going to be honest here so click away if your not good at handling criticism.

1. Most people hate reading white on any color. It may look nice but unless your a a complete fan of someone or reading something on a music site it very rarely works.

2. The site name means nothing. What is your site about? Get a good keyword rich name so people know whats its about first.

3. There is a huge blank space on the right so you need to fix that.

4. Never put how many visitors to your site as it is very unprofessional and turns a lot of people off or they just leave laughing or possibly with some envy.

5. Your adds don't match your site whatever it is about.

This is just for starters.

Traffic comes because you are specializing on a certain topic and everything revolves around that topic. Leave the general stuff to google and MSn and specialize.

Even if you have something on your website about traffic don't have it in the way meaning making attention to it
Also if it doesn't say how much traffic your getting you can easily find out.
