Yaro talks about writing pillar articles and if I understand it, that means a separate PAGE for each pillar and then the actual blogging posts occur below that. Am I warm? If so, will RSS ping on newly added PAGES, or is it only for POSTS within a page?
I need to know if I were to set up the feed, will it tell my readers that I have added a new page? Do I need to reply to however many posts I get or is it better to just write content and let the readers argue about it among themselves? |

Hey Charlie, - A pillar article is a proper blog post, you don't need to use the "page" function in wordpress.
It's more about the type of content you write and the format - it's still just a normal blog post.

Nope, RSS feeds don't publish pages, they only publish normal blog posts.
When Yaro talks about writing pillar articles, he means writing a blog post that's an incredibly useful resource for your readers and timeless...
