Hi Fred,

thanks for sharing your advice. I'm not quite clear what you mean by a bounceback offer; is it an affiliate link in the ebook?

I would love to see an example in one of your books and thanks again.

Default Bouncebacks in Books/Ebooks

Stephe, Sorry not to have given you a better and clearer explanation. By bouncebacks I mean any and everything that you include in a book or ebook that will cause your reader to go somewhere else (either on or offline) to see something else where you can sell them on a related topic or product. So, in my books I always make mention of a variety of different things and then give links to various sites. This way, I don't care if people "share" my books and ebooks with others. Hopefully, some of the people reading, will go to these other locations and then put money in my pocket in some manner shaper or form. Make sense? Best, Fred

That totally makes sense; maybe dollars too

thanks Fred.

I've signed up for your newsletter and downloaded a few of your ebooks. I'm going to have a closer look at your ebooks to see how you do it.

Thanks for your advice; it's much appreciated,

It also depends upon your niche too means are others in your niche charging for this information. I mean to say is there any market for your information in your niche?

If so, then there is no reason why you don’t charge for the information. It’s all about helping people to solve their problem and if you provide quality information people would be more than happy to buy it.

From what I can see, based on reading the other posts, is that it has come down to giving the ebook away free to generate leads for your list. As a matter of fact, that is the same way I have my list setup. If you want to check out my site, you can. I basically say in the box that if you sign up for my insiders newsletter, you will receive "this ebook", a $40 value, FREE.

Good luck in your decision, and if you have any further questions, or wanna let us know how it is going, let us know. We're all ears

-Taylor
