Not sure if this is the correct forum, if not im sorry.

I have a question with regards to how you set up your advertising. I have set up advertising locations on my page. I will be charging per month (subscription). My question is, what happens when your blog becomes more popular, and you wish to charge more for your advertising spots? What do you say to the current advertisers who are already subscribed on your blog? Its obviously not ethical to just start charging them more, so how would you go about doing it?

In most cases if a sponsor has been a long term supporter I do not bump the price for their campaign even when I bump the prices on my general structure.

However if I don't have them on subscription, I have no hesitation increasing the price every six months to year, assuming the traffic increase justifies it.
