I've been blogging now for sometime, as well as designing websites for the past 11 years, but I just started looking into blogging for money.

I'm setting up ads through pay per click and affiliate sites and I've been using your blog as well as John's and Darren's blogs as an inspiration.

I noticed that both you and John have ads that point to a business called Carbon Copy Pro. My question is:

Did you and he purchase the carbon copy pro system, or did you find a place where you can just add it as an affiliate link to your blog?

Hey Steven,

That particular banner is a paid sponsor, not an affiliate arrangement. They are paying me a monthly flat fee to advertise.

Hence I haven't actually tried that one as I tend to only review and promote as an affiliate products I sell.

So sorry, can't really tell you much about it other than they are so far a good sponsor for my blog, which means they might be getting good results.

I'm pretty certain it's the same for John.
