Not really. It certainly doesn't hurt to know the basics, but as long as you can use FTP or hire somebody to use FTP for you then you'll be all set with Wordpress.

If you stick with blogs and with WordPress, you will not need to know any HTML or CSS. WordPress generates all of that for you. WordPress is very easy to use and setup. I think the hardest part is uploading the files to your hosting.
I think the two biggest parts of being successful online is networking and writing. |
