How to earn money from my blog?

Hi everybody,

I am so new in the field of blog. I have started my blog 'Online Dating Advice' on august 2008. Within this September about 2000 unique visitors came to my blog. About 2400 pageviews made. Got Alexa rank from 6252876 to 1665396. Feedburner reader to 30. Google pagerank to 2/10. I have placed some affiliate links on my site if i can earn some money. But alas, after getting clicks over 300 on those affiliate links not a single doller I earned. Please help me. What is my fault? How can I get my bread and butter from my blog ? I want to do work form my home. Because I got a small angel in my home and I want to stay near him every time. Yaro is my Guru. As I reading more and more of his articles he is coming nearer to me like a real friend. You all are close to him and getting training from him. But I am so poor that, Blog MasterMind training is too far from my imagine. I just struggling to earn my daily living. I don't know if anybody will answer my question or help me or not. But I am so optimistic. I know if anybody have a wish he will reach to his aim certainly. Waiting for any reply.

Affiliate programs are great. But did you try other strategies?

I tried with a few affiliates, but there is no results. I am getting cliks too, but there is no sale. Still, google AdSence is a better choice to generate income.

Keep on....but u need to try different way to get more traffic.... and get sales..

1. Market yoour own products
2. Be an affiliate for other people's products
3. Insert Adsense Ads
4. Ask you readers to give you a tip
and many more.......

Here are some of my suggestions. I visited your blog and found that there is only one post on home page. Show at least 5 posts or show 10 with post excerpts.

You blog's favicon is a ''$' symbol, which do not match with your blog's niche. You can use heart or something similar to that. Your traffic stats shows 2000 visitors with around 2400 page views. This means very high bounce rate. Experiment a bit to make your home page a bit more sticky. Read some good posts about how to reduce the bounce rate of your blog.
