Default E-Book On-line Sales

I have written a book and I can not afford to publish it through conventional means. I am interested in selling it as an E-Book. My thought is that I could offer a couple of chapters for free with a link to buy the whole thing.

I have no idea of how to set up such a thing. Can anyone explain how to do this in a way that even a techno-twit, such as myself, could understand?

Thanks for your help.

Charlie

Default Re sales

Well Charlie the best place to start is to get yourself a domain name and some hosting and then just write a sales page.

So here are the steps:

1. Do some keyword research for your niche:

2. Register a keyword specific domain and get some hosting.

3. Create your sales page and set up autoresponder to deliver your free chapters.

4. Set up a paypal or 2 checkout or clickbank links for your payments and download and add to your page

5. Promote like blazes.

Default Thanks DUH!

Ok, I already have the blog and Pay-Pal account. What Iwas asking, (should have been more specific I guess), is this; is there a package program that I can copy the teaser chapters into? And then, another for the sale of the entire text once the fee is paid?

I'm thinking of a plug-in or something that heads with, "Read sample chapters," and at the end a link to submit payment and release the entire text.

I probably don't even know what I'm talking about, but it seems to me that there should be a way to do this without having to have a degree in rocket science!
