I have my sites and my server. I've uploaded WP to my site but when I put in the /wp-admin/ bit it doesn't recognise it. The FTP said all the files had downloaded successfully. What has gone wrong?

What are you trying to do? Reinstall Wordpress?

Google "how to blog" and you'll find a ton of information. Mostly is B.S. and useless.

Get into a forum like this one and ask specific questions...

Or get a mentor help you in the right direction.

The best thing would be to get your friend do it on your behalf... this might work for a few times, but you'd have to learn it all by yourself as you won't be dependant on your friend anymore... you know?
