Wordpress extensions

Hi everyone

Just looking at my fresh Wordpress installation, there's lots of stuff missing - well, compared to what I want anyway.

Priority numero uno is something to give me seo friendly urls, like the one's on EJ (rather than /?p=3432324 etc).

Also, in the admin section, there's a whole tab dedicated to links. There was a category called Blogroll and I created a new one. Presumably I have to edit the templates to get these links to show up on my blog pages?!

Thanks guys - already installed some of these and I'm sure more will follow!

My friend has recommended I install a Ping plugin. Apparently I can get my blog to automatically tell the blog trackers about new posts on my blog.

Is this a good idea - and if so can anyone recommend a good plugin?!

a plugin called postpost allows you to add anything before or after your RSS feed and there is also a plugin that goes with Ultimate tag warrior and adds related post to your feed also.
