Best ways to send alot of new traffic to your site

hey, james here... i've been running a small blog now for a little over a year, and just recently after reading alot on some of these different forums ive started trying to monetize my blog with adsense and am looking to find different easy ways to send lots of new traffic. So far since i started ive just been dropping alot of links in comments i post on others blogs.. and doing the social bookmarking thing which is where most of my traffic comes from using the automated software from http://www.bmdemon.pcti-system.com .. which im sure most of you are probably using also. But I was jus curious, as im still fairly new to this, what are some other easy effective ways i could drive alot of new traffic to my blog? And furthermore, for those other methods for traffic are you aware of any other software like bm demon that will automate those methods for me that isnt going to cost me much?? As I work 40 hours a week and often find myself with very limited time to work on this project... Any advice / comments / suggestions would be very appreciated!! thanks

Hey James,

Building traffic takes a while, and I know that for a fact. I have a blog/podcast of my own that I have been running for the past 3 years. It seems you are starting out in the right direction by commenting on similar blogs in your niche, and I'll add a couple suggestions to that.

Start doing the same thing with forums in your niche, become a part of them and interact with them. Also, if there are more popular blogs in your niche, ask them for an interview to put on your blog or work see if both of you can together on a topic for a post. Most of them will be happy to help.

I've found article marketing to be one of the fastest ways to begin building links and sending targeted traffic. It takes some effort and time but making a habit of writing one or two articles a day or even a week will send visitors to your blog. Josh Spaulding has a few ebooks available on using article marketing (some of which are free). Take a look at his site: Internet Marketing with Josh Spaulding

I know you said time is an issue, so you may want to look into having articles written for you (via elance) and submit them to various directories using an automatic submitter like Article Post Robot. Josh also recommends a new submitter on his site. The name of it escapes me at this moment.

Be aware if you don't have much time, indeed you need some software to make your work more fast. If you don't want to spend more money, you have to spend your time much. There are many ways to send a new traffic. Forum posting and blog commenting also. Beside Social Bookmark and Social Networking site. And you can also follow some traffic exchange to increase it. Like Entrecard if you have a blog.
