Website/Blog Idea...input?

Hello I am new to the forums and I love the site. Everyone is full of ideas, experiences and tips on how to make it in the online world. I am a pretty big sports fan and am going to college right now finishing up with a degree in communications. I want to be a sports writer/broadcaster and have experience in both as I host a radio show on campus and write sports for local paper. Now it's time to turn my passion into a living and I would love to do it on my own... hosting my own sports website. the domain is going to be called: explodeinsports.com. I am just waiting to get my next pay check to buy my hosting and build the site through wordpress. I will feature blog(s), news page, audio broadcasts of a sports show I am putting together with live on air call ins, and finally a forum for fans to come and network and talk about sports. There is my pitch idea, now what I would love is some feedback on how I could make money and really launch this into something big within the next year or two and make it my full time job and love. I really have the drive to do this and will do this as I've researched for the past three months on different sites. My family recently did hit a financial barrier and I myself want to help ease the pain and help my parents live the life they have worked hard for. Thanks everyone.. hope to hear back.
