Hi All,
I am not a newbie to blogging however, over the last week I decided to take a little stroll through google for any updated info on best ping services and just how many to add in the back end of wordpress. The result! More confusion! When I first started blogging I came across the rule of thumb less is best and no more than 5 services. However on my latest search I have found posts where 65 - 75 ping services are listed! Spam crosses one's mind with this. Then I headed over to Yaro's blog as he is very successful with his blog and shares knowledge, a search of his blog did not give me the answers. So here i sit at the forum Does anyone or Yaro yourself please, have advice or willing to share what are the best ping services to use, how many we should be using etc. I have uploaded the maxblogping. Thank you, one very frustrated aussie!! Jules ![]() |

Well I am using Blog Ping now! | Ping That Blog! to send multiply pings. In the past it has a feature to give the latest blog ping server list, but now it's under development.Only the Blog Ping server verifier and the Pinger works now.It has an XML-RPC api under development too, so you can ping it's address
Code:
http://rpc.pingthatblog.com I think it's an upcoming blog pinger site. So supergemmer i think you should get the biggest blog ping server list you can get from google.com, and then verify it on pingthatblog. I've did it too. |
