Would "Relationships" be a good blog topic?

I noticed many people here are into concrete things and topics. What if I wanted to make a blog about love and making relationships successful?

I've been struggling for MONTHS to figure out my topic. I keep coming back to this one. Personally, I've only had one relationship in my entire life, but it started almost 3 years ago and still going strong and awesome (so I DO know a couple things about making a relationship grow and last) Plus, I am studying to be a marriage counselor, so eventually I'll even be licensed to give out advice on relationships.

But still, it worries me, would anyone look into a blog with such a .. well, emotional/abstract/but important topic?

Yes, I think people are always interested in relationships and so many people struggle with how to keep them alive and healthy and satisfying. Not just romantic love but also between friends and family. It would seem to be a topic with lots of depth. Content should be no problem.

What I'm less certain about is advertising. If your intent is to make money, don't know off the top of my head how many advertisers would be in that niche. But, I'm very new myself so certainly don't take only my word.....

The topic "Relationships" is sort of related to a very hot and saturated niche "dating".

If you manage to grow your blog to a certain point of popularity, advertisers will come in time.

As long as you are passionate in the topic, and if you are patient and dedicated, I don't see anything that would put you off from success.
