Making the comments process easier

Hi all

On my blog i've set it so that all members must be registered to post (i did this to stop spammers but i guess there must be other advantages such as newsletters, mass email etc right?)

Problem is some members are getting confused as to how to write a comment as it isnt really that straightforward. Is there a way to simlify this?

I'm still in the process of writing my pillar articles and free giveaways but have left a topic on writing comments for those who find my blog through word of mouth.

To be honest... I wouldn't comment on your blog. I couldn't be bothered signing up. That may be just me, but I'm thinking the easier it is to write a comment on your blog, the more comments you'd get. There are other ways to stop spam, and if people want newsletters, they can sign up for them. If I had to read a tutorial on how to comment... well, I'd have to be really inlove with your blog, and there are very few blogs I'm inlove with. Just my 2c.

I do see your point and hae changed the comment process so you now dont have to be registered...

But now how do i keep people nitified about updates to the blog?
