Yeah, the 'Love Hotels' Hehe!! Just kidding!

I've met a bunch of people over the years that worked in Tokyo (and other parts of Japan) teaching English among other things, but I’ve never been myself.

Have a great time Rhett.

Tokyo??? I'm jelous. That's on my list of cities that I really want to visit. The others are:

1. Moscow
2. Vienna
3. Zurich
4. Las Vegas
5. Johannesburgh
6. Stockholm

Hey, where's Bangkok tinobuntic? It's a hot, noisy, polluted, and densely populated city where you have to haggle with motorcycle taxis and tuk tuk drivers, steer away from packs of deranged street dogs, leap over hazardous pot holes and suffer the relentless heat and awful humidity that this city doles out so cruelly to the lost pedestrian.

I can't understand why it's not on your list! ha ha Lol!

Seriously though, despite all the above it really does have a great vibe with lots to see, do, and experience. Despite so many reports that it's a dark and seedy place that lures nothing but aging sex tourists, there's a lot more to this vast city than meets the eye.

I lived there for 3 years and it was probably both the best and worse chapter of my life so far.

It's a refreshing break to be in the North of the country now though

very eclectic choice of desinations there. I've been to (4), and close to (3). It seems you like extremes in temperature (and cultures)
