Hi Amyl,
Thank you for the welcome and the interest in my to-be blog.I have read some of your posts about your sets of twins. You have material for a lifetime. However you still have time to write very funny material.I am happy to see not everyone is writing about internet marketing. My blog will also be about something far removed Internet marketing.I Will keep you informed in the future.I still don't know if my chosen Niche is marketable.and I still don't know how to research it.Do you have any suggestions? Cheers Veronica. |

Hi Kathie,
Thanks for the encouragement. You have no idea how challenging the computer and all it's foibles are for me. I have spent my whole career (almost 40 years) in the SO-Called glamourous world of clothing design.Consequently my whole being only knows how to master creative tasks.I believe i have come to terms with this side of my brain.I type with 2 fingers-BUT-I have a headful and many years of experience in my brain.I have led a somewhat movie script kind of life and my first blog will not be on being a clothing designer.Maybe that could be my second big project. You can probably calculate from this information that I am a BBoomer(I really dislike that word )and I know there is an enormous market out there for WE people. Some of the most vibrant and interesting people out there fit into this WE group. Once again many thanks for the encouragement. Veronica. |

Okay, I'm pretty dumb. What's WE stand for?
Thanks for looking at my twin stories! I have tons more....there's one about an elevator ride that (had it been video taped) woulda won me the hundred grand on America's Funniest Videos. One of my projects over time is to get those stories onto the blog. A blog that I'd be interested in reading is how to manage my own wardrobe, especially as a stay at home mom. It's easy for us to ignore our own closets when we're busy with kids and housework. You could talk about how to supply a basic wardrobe...what pieces are must-haves, how to size things....all that kind of thing. And monetize with affiliate clothing sales. Ooooo, and offer private consultation services even. Lol. I guess I should probably let you pick your own path, huh? Keep us posted, it'll be great to see whatever you do! |

I have a friend in the US who has actually written a book about being a Baby Boomer (put in full for those who don't know what it is). Not a term that's endearing at all!I trained to be a secretary back in the early 1970s so gravitated to computers as they came into the office - although it was originally in 'kicking and screaming' mode, once I actually began to understand, things clicked and I was off running and been running ever since!

Good morning AmyL,
I can see by your posting time, that you work late at night after your babes are asleep.Keep up the good energy. "WE" referrs to WE Baby Boomers as a collective group.Unfortunately, some mistake this age group as retired and doddering,-a description that is far from the truth. 60yrs old today is when life gets really interesting! I thank you for the ideas, after all this, is what this forum is about-sharing of productive input.I actually do some personal consulting here in Toronto.I think the area for stay at home mums is a very good suggestion,-Your needs are different to other womens.I spent many years wardrobe building for my clients from all walks of life. The biggest obstacle every woman has is that of time constraints, and not every woman loves to-or, has the time to shop. Perhaps you could come up with a time management blog for mums in the same position as you.I understand that it is easy for plans to go out the window when you have small people in the family who have no concept of time. However, you sound like you are an expert at time management.I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by new mothers who are overwhelmed by the tasks involved-pertaining to TWINS. Have a great day. Veronica. |
