How many sites do you run/own and what do you use them for?

Myself I have about 5

Two are set up as blogs w/ ads
one is a wiki without ads (just started)
one is a little vidoe tracking site
The last one I use to test out PHP code from time to time, but otherwise it's rotting.

I have one major site that gets all of my current attention (Run to Win)

I have two blogs I plan on implementing but just haven't gotten around to yet, but that I want to have up and running by the end of Spring and end of Summer (a personal finance one and one about an affliction I have)

I have one site that is a forum for alumni to my college cross country/track team.

I have one site that my mother uses to help sell her dolls on EBay.

I have another site that I plan on implementing for AIS type work but have no time frame yet.

I have another site that I plan on implementing for AIS type work that I wanted to go at the end of last year, but I am not so sure it is a market I want to associate myself with anymore. I probably will, but only after I've developed most of the material for my Run to Win site and will just adapt it.

This is not counting the 8 or 10 sites that I help manage through my day job that are actual income producers (just not directly for me...)

I have 11 websites (or I will have by the end of this month) all hand built, and all kinda niche.

Short term objective is to focus on highly optimised unique content sites used to generate revenue from Google AdSense, Yahoo etc

Mid term goal is to keep building quality sites which will be based on the success and testing of the first 11. This will give me a good foundation on which to build the new sites.

Long term goal is to branch off a bit and add affiliate products and services to some sites too so as to diversify my income streams.

I have four websites at the moment.

One of them is the blog in my signature, which I'm not treating as an income source at the moment.

The other three are on various topics, based on the Adsense + articles income model. I aim to produce 'quality' sites with unique content which will develop into sustainable income streams in the long term.

I have a couple more of these Adsense sites in the pipeline but they're only in the planning stages at the moment.

I also have a product AIS - an ebook - which is nearing completion, and I hope to launch this within a month or so. I don't expect a huge take-up but it will only need around one sale/year to cover its costs.

At the moment my income is purely from Adsense but my intention is to diversify over time, for obvious reasons.

I've got my two blogs and BetterEdit.com as active sites/businesses, and Yaz.com.au and the old Small Business Branding typepad site as inactive AdSense sites.

I have a trail of abandoned domains/sites too like youngactivist.com, yazz.ca, joes-dating-world.com, business-newbies.com - a virtual graveyard!

I have a bunch of blog traffic sites/blogs in the works but besides www.BlogTrafficKing.com I can't reveal them just yet (mostly because there isn't anything to look at yet!).

Currently, two:
  • www.jtse.com, which is about me and also contains my professional and career blog about software development, leadership, and entrepreneurship
  • bethestory.com, my blogcast celebrating stories and telling them
I also own the domain jtimothyking.com, which currently redirects to jtse.com.

In the short time I've been blogging and podcasting, I've learned that I like it. So I'll probably be starting more sites.

Busy building more sites as there's never enough. Plus most of them belong to 'paid' forums' and at between $50 and $100 a month, that's where they'll be spending their bits of free time.
