Hi all,
I’m new here and hope I can get help from you all. I am a beginner in software development and right now I am using internet explorer but it gives some problems during page testing. I am unable to understand that what is the exact problem is. Should I use another browser or recheck my program codes? Help me please. Thanks in advance! |

Preston,
If you are doing any kind of web development then you should be testing in at least Internet Explorer and FireFox (go to Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable in order to download it - it's free). I just set up a newsletter sign up page, and my special report download page had a problem with IE that I hadn't noticed. Thankfully, I had a few friends run through it before going live, and it was a 30 second fix once I noticed it. But I had forgotten to check in IE myself, so that could have been embarrassing. In terms of actually finding what your problem is, Fire Fox has a really good "web developer toolbar" that you can install from: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60 IE also has a pretty good web development toolbar, but I don't use it so I don't know where to find it. I'm sure that you can find it with a quick google search.

Hey, if you are confident that your coding is errorless then I would suggest you to check your pages in another browser. If it still does not work then you should check your program codes. However, there are many browsers available on the net that you can download easily. Here is a site called Browsers Reviews - Best Browser Review of internet explorer 7 and mozilla firefox 2 review Hope this will help you.
Best of luck! |
