Default Pure Exhaustion!

Well, I've finished writing my manuscript, I've put enough edits and graphic work in to create a review copy, and I've sent a dozen or so off to friends and influencers that will hopefully get me some good feedback before I publish next weekend and will also hopefully help me promote it with some good words on their own websites.

My 50 page ebook wound up being almost 75 pages by the time that I was done. Wow.

For those who are as amused as easily as I am, here's a screen shot of the print preview:

(click for the full screen image!)

A little over 31,000 words. If it was fiction, that would be the top end of a novella.

Almost 75 pages? Wow... I'm tired for you and really impressed.

So, congratulations for the new baby and I hope the feedback will be more than good

And I love the screen shot, because it gives you a good idea of the general look of the eBook. I mean the pages are pretty small, but I can clearly see the structure of the book and the keywords. So, it's all good.

Actually, other than section headers (that I use through 3 levels), there is not a lot of formatting such as bolding and I don't pay a ton of attention to keywords. I do italicize a few things, but most of what you are probably referring to as keywords are actually hyperlinks.

Any time that I refer to a marathon, a website, or a product, I created a hyperlink to it. In the case of products, the majority of those are redirects to amazon. At the end of the book, I have 3 or 4 pages listing all of the referenced hyperlinks so that if you print it out you will be able to see what the actual page referenced is behind the scenes.

Ah okay, but I persist, the general look seems clean and easy to read.
