My name is Eileen and I am trying for 1 week trying to upload my theme to my site, but whenever I click on the theme I selected all I received a blank white page and at the bottom there is a message "style sheet is missing",could you please explain to me what I am doing incorrectly

You haven't uploaded the stylesheet along with the theme. There should be a style.css file. You may need to download the theme from the original source or else choose a different theme if you don't have that file.
