i am a new member to this forum. I have a doubt that is if we built a AIS site how can it get traffic?

I have been wondering the exact same thing.

I have some ideas on how to get it built, but traffic wise is it just SEO?

Adwords, miva, overture, and some good natural SEO eventually.

Depends what type of AIS I would presume. If you just want to make adsense cash then you'd probably wait for the search traffic and generate direct links. If you were selling a product then use adwords and advertise in forums (using your sig file).

Link backs. And the higher the page rank of those sites that are pointing back to your sites so much the better. The more quality sites you can get linking to your webpages, the higher regard Google has for your site, and your chances of getting on the early page(s) of the major search engines increases dramatically, and that, along with the sites that you're linked on, = traffic.

But first, you need to get indexed before you can hope to get any decent links. Not many folks are prepared to link to a non-indexed 0 page ranked site.

One way is to join a link exchange program. You can also buy quality links (bit pricey though!), or you can cheekily approach the webmasters of quality sites and request they link to you.

You can also submit unique articles to say Ezine Articles and include links back to the pages of your sites in the Author's box. This method could potentially be a great viral way to get a steady stream of traffic to you website(s). Just make sure you write great little articles between 400-700 words then submit on average 3 articles per 1 website.

Never stop looking for new links, never falter on making sure your pages are Search Engine friendly, and continue to add unique content pages to you sites. Once it begins to work, rinse and repeat, and your traffic will increase!

Failing all that, there’s always the more spammy, automated way of getting web traffic to your sites but that’s nothing for this forum.

hopefully get good enough ranking by search engines or by people clicking on sumbitted articles

most members here put their link in signature to generate links to their sites
