i will try to clarify my point

i agree it takes a long time to build a content site

but i disagree that it should take a long time to complete an ais site if you plan to do many

why?

lets say that you are building a site a week

in one year you will have 52 sites

now tell me how will you find the time tweak all those sites

not to mention building new ones

if they are launch and forget you can make as many as you wish

if they are to be tweaked for months and years the more you have the slower you can move

anyway i am sure you will learn and change if neccesaary to achieve profitability

you reported good progress for which you deserve all the credit

would you mind telling us if you broke even already and making a profit on a monthly basis

I think one of the problems with long threads is that they can go off on a tangent sometimes. My opening post reads:

Quote:
Okay guys here's a progress report as promised regarding my AIS sites. Well actually, they're not really AIS as they'll always need a bit of maintenance and updating even when they've lots of popular pages and traffic. But obviously they will need less updating and optimising over time, that’s for sure.[/b]
On that note Tylor, I’m not really sure who you’re disagreeing with as I’ve pointed out that I’m going for quality and longevity over quantity auto generated mass produced spammy style sites that have a somewhat much shorter life expectancy.

Those serious about AIS per se, would be doing a lot more than a site a week. In fact one guy over at Keyword Explosion reported having 2,500 sites and he hasn’t half way finished according to him. His monthly earnings from these sites were most impressive too.

The oldest sites are 2 months old now and the latest 5 just over a week and I’m happy to report that I broke even 3 days ago. I’m more than happy with that kind of progress after just a few weeks. Obviously with such a new project there is no ‘monthly basis yet’. And before you ask, no I’m not going to be posting my exact figures but I will be posting periodic progress reports so that those interested in building ban proof sites can get an idea of what works, what doesn’t, and if it’s something they’d like to have a stab at.

Cheers

good for him
i dont expect he has any time twaeking those sites one by one and it is probably redundant anyway

/me awaits update

Any news Aitch? Is there a blog with your progress? If not there should be. I hear there's a guy around these parts that's extremely good at "building blog traffic" ...

I'll post when there's something to update guys. Still haven't exceeded $20 a day yet but a few days close now. All daily income is still well up on the same time last month and I’ve noticed 3 of the new sites have been indexed by Google today (this took just 8 days)

As far as a blog with my progress is concerned James, I don't have time. I have enough going on with building sites and promoting them and participating in 2 forums.

Let's see what happens when it all slows down. I'm already looking at affiliate programs for some of the sites now but I want to see the AdSense potential first and relax on the other stuff once I’ve reached my target income.

Cheers
