ok after i got a few remarks about off topic posts i open a new thread

could you name some of your favourite high paying affiliation programs

in web marketing products
in other digital products
in tangible products (such as books)
or any other kind

could you specify

how much they pay in % or in $
how long it takes to get paid
do they have many options for payment or only the miserable paypal option
do they provide good reports
is there an issue with their integrity
and any other information you like to share

i think this can be a very interesting thread since there are so many people here with years of web marketing

will appreiate your posts

Why don't you do some homework? Spend the next few days investigating what is available and report back to us...maybe make a spreadsheet and make it available for download somewhere.

This would be a nice way for you to start contributing positively to the community.

lol you are right

the problem is that i am kind of a litchy type

blood sucking you may say

only take and no give that is old tylor i am afraid

but again you are right and i try my best to change

it is not very nice

ok i will start

niche creator is a great affilation program since they give 40% of $499 which justifies the effort

if you can only convince people to join

i have checked other forums you know (i did a bit of homework)

and i saw that many criticize the high price they charge

some even say you can pay a programmer to build it especially for you for less than $499

but burty here showed that it is indeed possible to get people to join and pay

i assume that if you promise people that they will make money you can get them to pay $499 for a script

you may say it is an investment and not an expense

or to see it as a chance and not an obstacle

i must say that i have a bit of moral problem to promise people they will make money and grab my comission

but as my general nature is not so very generous as i indicateed by calling myself a leach previously (altough i try to change)

i believe i will be able to adjust my concsience accordingly and sell dreams of prosperity

it is a bit confusing coz i need to change here both to the positive side and the negative as well

You must never promise people that they will make money. That would be silly as most people will not make money - people give up far too easily.

Niche Creator has a good payout amount, but it is hard to find buyers for the program now, as there are much better site creators now available. 6 months ago it was simple to find buyers for Niche Creator.

What other Affiliations have you found on your travels?

well i found amazin but wasnt impressed and bailed out altogether once i got your and yaro's reviews

i also found another book affiliate program in http://www.worldbook.com/wc/browse?id=ab/afp

seemed quite ok

they pay once you get to $25 which really seems fair

comission is 10% which is no big thrill but better than amazon that starts at 4.5%

their sign up process really suck though

they make it very complicated and send you some complicated american tax form to fill

the sign up stopped in the middle then i had to start again

then they didnt accept my email coz it was already registered in their server after my first try

shortly is is hell to sign up

i figured - if it is so complicated to sign up what will happen once i want to get paid

it is done through comission junction

something else i found is those surveys affiliation programs

not really sure what is the point there

they promise people that they will make money by answering surveys

and they charge them registration fee to join

they even promise their clients that they will get back the registration fee in a few hours by answering a couple of surveys

which makes no sense whatsoever to charge the registration fee in the first place

i just dont get what kind of morons accept that they need to pay in order to get paid

whatever

i assume once the sucker pays they give them really complicated surveys with minimal profits

or actually dont really pay cash but give coupons for purchases which i believe can be done easily with no cost for those sites

or just collect their emails or whatever

this whole thing stinks and i dont see myself participating in this kinda thing

I've heard of people doing really well with the party poker affiliate program - but obviously you need an audience interested in poker to make it work for you.

How exactly do you intend to drive traffic to your affiliate programs Tylor?

And man, is your enter key stuck or something, the line breaks in your posts are driving me mad!

i hate punctuation marks so the alternative remains enter otherwise it is really indecipherable long spaghetti i will try to use more punctuation though

yes yaro you are right everything starts and ends with traffic

i figured out the following: if the affiliate programs pays well enough plus your conversion rate is good enough (the % of the people who buy out of those who enter your site) than you can afford PPC such as adwords

of course those operating the programs should have a reason to pay you right?

i mean they can do adwords themselves and get the traffic. why should they pay a comission bigger than the adwords fee required?

so you need to find cheap advertisment and high paying affiliate programs.

cheap ads in adwords mean you need cheap keywords. you need to find a way to turn it around. people search for x (x being not expensive keyword) and you need to turn it and give them y (y being an expensive keyword). this is it.

i must say i didnt try it yet so i dont know how well it can work.

the disavanatage of this system is that anyone can copy what youre doing in two seconds.

I prefer punctuation, personally.

I think the majority of people prefer punctuation, you might say it's a standard

Affiliate programs are great in terms of how "easy" the money is, but it's not an easy business to focus on if you are working in the Internet marketing arena. There is just too much competition and skepticism.

My suggestion is to affiliate sell in some of the non-internet marketing niches - I hear loans and insurance are very high paying industries, as is poker!
