Hey everyone!
I am looking to buy a local website in my hometown -- it is a very popular "classified" ad like site. (http://www.thecornwalltrader.com). The guy who owns it is open to offers.... what sort of metrics should I be looking for...what questions should i ask prior to making an offer?

Defiantly follow Yaro's guides to buying websites. The only other advice I can give that's NOT covered by Mr know it all, is to visit sitepoint's buying selling forum and perhaps find similar sites to look at the going selling price.
