Things are really starting to come together for BlogTrafficSchool.com. I got the systems going now so I have the membership area ready. The blog still needs filling out with the content and the whole affiliate system still needs to be set up, but I'm going to do that while the alpha and beta testers use the system.
It's just been so fantastic to finally see things as the students will see them when they take the course. This forum is now also integrated with the system so every person who signs up for the course will instantly be a member of these forums and have access to the Blog Traffic School hidden forums too where hopefully all kinds of blog traffic tech will be discussed and new techniques tested. It sure has taken a while though to get things where they are even now and I'm probably only about 80% done at this stage. But most of the things coming up are the real fun things, where I get to test out everything and make sure it works before unleashing it on everyone. I strongly recommend if anyone else is considering starting an online business they start taking action - that's the best way to taste these rewards.

Hey Yaro,
Well done on the whole Blog Traffic School, it's nice to hear that it's coming along nicely. I can't wait for its launch! I'd definitely agree that entrepreneurs must take an active stance if they want to become big or grow their businesses. You're a true role model! I too decided to take the plunge and got my domain and hosting for www.blogtrepreneur.com. What do you think of the site Yaro? Any feedback would be much appreciated (please note there are a few bugs with archives and categories). Anyway, good luck with the School, and I hope you reap the rewards of your hard work! Adnan

Glad to hear it Yaro.
As for you Blogtrepreneur, a clean interface with a sneaky Google linkbar! I like it! Tiny bit of advice, on the popular section on the right bar - all the links kind of blend into each other - try seperating them a bit more, perhaps with more padding or bullet points.

Thanks James,
I wish it was a Google sidebar, that would make a nice handy profit on the side! But then I remember that as a new site, my site wouldn't be indexed yet by Google, and so users would not be able to search anything. About the bullets, I think my coder tried to do it but couldn't, not sure why, will ask him again, Thanks, and sorry for stealing your post Yaro!

No worries Adnan - my post really wasn't great for discussion - just me rambling...so it's good you could turn it into something constructive ;-)

I just thought one day, why not? Just give it a go, if you fail you fail and you try somethingelse or worst case scenario go back to 9-5 (shivering uncontrollably...). I am learning so much it is really quite unbelievable and (and I'm going a bit pavlina here) I feel like I have found my purpose. Ok I am definitely the learner....sorry about that folks (copying the whole of Yaro's post) DOH! |
