Default Where To Place Blog

I have a question about wordpress...if I put my blog on my website using
a wordpress system instead of the normal positioning, does that blog
site lose the traffic and google listings that the blog left on the
worpress site would get?

Thanks,

Daron

Are you talking about moving a blog from wordpress.com to your own domain on your own server?

Default Thanks For Your Questions

I have several blogs on Wordpress, but recently I put one on my website using Wordpress's format. I've always heard that Google "likes" wordpress, and my question related to whether Google checked those blogs which were not on the Wordpress site, but were coming off a website.

Perhaps this was a stupid question, but I was just concerned.

Thanks for your replies.

Daron

Daron, where your blog is located (wordpress.com servers or your own server) doesn't really matter; what matters is that people link to your website and to your articles. It may take a little while, but the search engines will eventually find your site and index it.

I recommend having your own server just so that you will have more control over it than you can get with a hosted solution at wordpress.com.

Default Thanks Blain,

I appreciate your input. I feel better about it now....just thought that my blog from my site would be lost.

Just for your information, here are two of my blogs: first on my site, second on blogspot.com Working on a third one at Symptoms And Treatment of Anxiety Panic Attacks

Texdrd.com

Getting Rid Of Yeast Infections In Man

Any other thoughts you may have will be greatly appreciated

Thanks again,
Daron
