I have a question about wordpress...if I put my blog on my website using
a wordpress system instead of the normal positioning, does that blog site lose the traffic and google listings that the blog left on the worpress site would get? Thanks, Daron |

Are you talking about moving a blog from wordpress.com to your own domain on your own server?

I have several blogs on Wordpress, but recently I put one on my website using Wordpress's format. I've always heard that Google "likes" wordpress, and my question related to whether Google checked those blogs which were not on the Wordpress site, but were coming off a website.
Perhaps this was a stupid question, but I was just concerned. Thanks for your replies. Daron |

Daron, where your blog is located (wordpress.com servers or your own server) doesn't really matter; what matters is that people link to your website and to your articles. It may take a little while, but the search engines will eventually find your site and index it.
I recommend having your own server just so that you will have more control over it than you can get with a hosted solution at wordpress.com.
