Default Dangers of Article Marketing

Most of you pros already know this...

But search engines hate these two things:
  • Duplicate Content
  • Quick Link Building

The only way I see to get around those things is to write a new article and submit it to different directories every day or every other day. That way you are getting a variety of links building slowly on original pages. That's a lot more time to put in, though.

More about it...here...

Search engines do not hate duplicate content... they hate exact copies which have no added value content included with them...

But duplicate content issue are more of an on-site issue... duplicate content is allowed to populate the search results... many many articles get good ranking but use the exact same information... you just have to ensure you change the content a bit...

personally I hate the article submission websites that suck your article up from your website and strip your links from it... I hate those guys...

Default Duplication

I don't think you have to change stuff much to avoid the duplicate content problem. Although it all does take time.

Josh Spalding who advocates article marketing for small niches that you can dominate (he calls them - inaccurately - long tail rather than competitive niches) uses different key words in the articles to the ones he targets on his site. They need to still be related to the niche. This means more time again of course. He claims that it works very well for him.

Would like to hear Yaro's, and others with experience, thoughts.

I'd like to hear from Yaro, etc. as well. I was told from one (self-proclaimed) SEO expert that you need to change it by 70% -- at that, you might as well start over.
