Nobody tells the secret of success, unless the matter is expired. The best thing you can do is to read as much as you can and then to try to filter. And try to avoid those mentors that have experimented a lot of solutions but never succeeded.

The same can happen with someone you meet in person. It's about WHO you hire, not whether you meet him online or offline.
