How much visitors is a good start for a blog to earn?

I wonder, how much visitors is a good starting point for a blog to earn at least USD 100 a month?

Hi:
The answer to that question would be hard to determine.There are to many factors involved. Primarily--"what your selling" and "how your selling it". Granted--you need traffic to your Site--but what is the Quality of the Traffic? There are blogs and Site's that have a great number of hits that produce little, while others gain better profits on a smaller number of hits. Advertising methods vary greatly--banner ads have been shown to produce anywhere from 1 to 5 percent results ( percentage of traffic ) that's a large difference--therefore it isn't so much the numbers your posting, as it is the amount of targeted traffic.

I fully endorse comments by Tenrreb. Just for some consolation, I would say once you start getting around 3000 visitors per month, you can given serious consideration to making money.

I have no experience with this, but I read in post on another blog that you should be able to make 1 sale for every 200 visitors. I am sure it would depend on the quality of the visitors as suggested above.

It is a very variable equation and its is also very dependent on the niche you are blogging and your target audience as well as marketing strategy!

Well it depends on your niche and content, if you have good content on your site then you have great chance to make $100/Month. I have low income but because of traffic I am making $100/month.
