Starting an Online business

Hello to everyone,

I have always been interested in being my own boss, and with the explosive growth of the interent I know that the future is online. I want to start an online business but do not know where to begin. I am working and make decent money but frankly I am sick and tired of working for other people.

Well to start an online business you need to

1.) Find or create a product that you can sell
2.) find out why people want to buy from you instead of competitors
3.) build a site
4.) learn how to drive traffic to the site
6.) learn how to close that sales in terms of internet marketing. (use email follow ups etc, just you will do the same if you are selling someting offline
7.) rinse and repeat the model.

basically that is... There are many people will tell you to do this and that. But only with trial and error you will know which model is best suits you,

By the way how much start up captial you have?

Just work on whatever your talent maybe, if your a writer start a blog, get some views and build an official website, if your a salesman then find your product and start from there, good luck.

As a starter, know the pros and cons of your business. You need to make sure that everything you invest must not be put into waste.

you can write blog for starting, you may earn with it but first you need to promote and optimize your blog
or try some research, you may find some interesting money making online and suits your personality.

How about starting a website?

I have an information site that I have created, that generates a nice regular monthly income. I sell my own products, earn advertising income and also sell other people's products.

Take a look at "Make Your Site Sell," by Ken Evoy. It's a free download that you can find through Google.

The concepts are simple, yet very workable. It might give you some ideas to get you going.
