New blog about making money online

About one month ago, a new blog was launched. EzMoneyOn.Net is targeting people who have just started blogging and who seek information regarding the possibilities they have to monetize their blogs. We publish guides, reviews, case studies, and we also have a lot of contests and freebies for our readers. It's a girls-published blog, and both Diana (my partner in this enterprise) and myself are happy to answer your blogging-related questions.

I took a look at your site Simo. It seems to provide great resources on monetized blogging. I'm actually exploring possibilities with a new blog, so I'll be sure to use your guides.

The other kind of information is about how many bloggers in which niches are making how much. (It would be nice to know that me thinking I can make my income from blogging is not just kidding myself). There seems almost none of this kind of information around. If you know where I could find this kind of info I'd be very grateful.

Evan, regarding the kind of info you are after, I don't think that people who have successful niche blogs would ever disclose their earnings publicly. There are many people whose intentions are bad, so the less you disclose, the better. Yet, if you follow the information found in places that can be trusted, you can succeed. Only think of what are you doing when you want to buy something. Do you use a search engine? You probably do. And if in your search you'd come across my blog which is offering you exactly that product you're after, would you order it from me?
If I'm trustful enough for you, you would. This is why Amazon has such a successful affiliate program, despite the very low commissions they give: because they've build a high level of trust with a lot of people.

Therefore, if you manage to build a trustful resource for potential buyers and if you let yourself be found by them, then you've got a deal. But both things are very hard to do: building trust requires time. Getting on top of search engines for good keywords takes time. Finding those keywords takes time.

If you think it would be useful, we could start a project on EzMoneyOn.Net, from researching topics, to picking up a niche, to building the website, and finally to getting some income out of it.
In fact, we've already started a section where we define a challenge, then suggest two solutions, and after the challenge ends see which solution was better - everything with proofs.
