Hello!
Because I have an abundance of time, energy and ideas, I have two blogs: Original Impulse Blog Journey Juju I realize that this abundance may be to my detriment regarding focus and effectiveness. I've been running my business, Original Impulse, since 1999. I coach writers, artists and visionaries, lead creativity tours, have written a book and several e-books, and am building my business to the next level, which involves me delivering training and speaking on the creative process for teams. I've been blogging since May, 2005 (OI blog). I started as a way to share the stories while leading my creativity tours in France. I love blogging and kept my OI blog alive even though I wasn't sure what to post while not traveling. I've been trying to use the OI blog as a way to share my work as a coach for writers and visionaries. I need to work on developing better content and using the blog to increase sales of my products and services. On Leap Day 2008, I launched Journey Juju, a new initiative of Original Impulse. The tag line, if I have one, is Inspiring Magical Travel. In May 2008 I shed my life in Boulder and set out for a six-month trip to Europe. (The dollar was so powerful I figured this was the perfect time to go! )I wrote a 29-days series on the OI blog to build suspense and interest in my JJ blog. I now have that as a special report I can use. The JJ blog is more of my story of living and adventuring in Europe. This trip, and my stories about it, serves as my billboard for my belief that life is a creative adventure and that you can absolutely live the life of your dreams. As a coach, I help people take the leap to their own adventures, whether it be writing, launching a business, or developing their personal creativity. You won't even believe how magical and fantastic this trip has been. I'm living proof that if you take a leap of faith, you will be rewarded mightily. Since I left Boulder, I have: met and fallen in love with an amazing man moved into a rooftop apartment in the best neighborhood in Lisbon landed a $10,000 editing gig, which allows me to relax about finances while I build the next phase of my business gotten new clients been invited to give workshops in Rome, London and Africa and more.... So the JJ blog is where I am writing about this and I want to really emphasize that anyone can live their dream. And that I can help them do so, through my writing, speaking, products and coaching. My goals for the blogs: OI blog - to share my expertise as a writer, coach and adventurer. To improve my effectiveness here and to use the blog to drive traffic to my site and increase my product sales by 100% in 2008. To use the blog to enroll new clients and to bring new opportunities to me. JJ blog - To improve my writing voice and style. To share my experience so others can be inspired. To enroll new clients and opportunities. To attract new writing opportunities - a book deal would be awesome or other possible ways to get my writing out in the world. I need a lot of help with monetizing the blogs, with focusing the content, and with making the best use of all the time I spend on the blogs. I love blogging and want to make it really work for my business. I'm a newbie at monetizing the blog and a veteran at blogging, so I look forward to both learning and sharing in the forums. I know this will be great fun and I look forward to the conversation with you all! Cynthia |

Cynthia, welcome to BMM! You might find the first few lessons a little slow since you already have experience setting up the blogs and getting into a rhythm, but you'll learn a lot once you get into the marketing and monetizing lessons. I'd still recommend going through the early lessons step by step, though, and adding in the little things that are missing.

Thanks, Blaine. It's okay that the first lessons are slow. I need to develop some better time management to incorporate this program into my schedule anyway, so it buys me a bit of time.
I will still read all the lessons. Thanks! Cynthia |

Cynthia,
Your sites are a delight. You obviously know what you are doing and you do it well. Yaro should be able to take you over the top. You know in 19th century America a term that was used to signify amazement or to test ones intellect, would be to ask, "Did you see the elephant?" Now I am fulfilled, I have seen the phone sheep! LOL Cheers, rich. [quote=CynthiaMorris;16197]Hello! Because I have an abundance of time, energy and ideas, I have two blogs: Original Impulse Blog Journey Juju I |
