I can't for the life of me find the post about which is the best or free site statistic system to use. I'm sure I read it here somewhere.
Anyone got any suggestions. I prefer free ones at this point, as it really doesn't pay until I have thousands of readers....in the future. Thanks for any help. |

Here is what I've used:
Google Analytics: Google Analytics Site Meter: Site Meter - Counter and Statistics Tracker You may also have a server log analysis program installed by your host. Look around in your hosting account's control panel to see what is there. I think that Google Analytics has become the industry standard.

I use google analytics - its free and gives a good breakdown of customer usage by country, city / region. Also you can link it with a small adwords campaign to investigate customer response profiles. Google makes it easy to see unique visitors and I think filters out automated traffic from search engines.
