When I do a Link:domain.com - (I do this on Yahoo or Google.com/webmasters). I see all my backlinks - but I've never seen any SBM sites that I've backlinked from. Have you guys noticed the same thing?

Yes it helps on backlinking your site. Social bookmarking websites are becoming more and more popular. They allow you to save bookmarks online and Tag/Categorize them with keywords instead of saving them as bookmarks in the favorite’s list of your browser. More..

Of course Social Bookmark are back linking to your site and will show on your back link tools if they are do follow site. I have try many Social Bookmark site and I see some of them link to my site cause I know they are do follow site. If they are no follow you still get benefit by increasing traffic. Provide you submit your URL page consistently once you publish a new post.
