Hello, my name is Pat.
I have been blogging since August 2005, when I started my first blog: Doggiewoggie: http://doggiewoggie.com/ I now also have a blog about Affiliate Marketing (since I have learned so much in the last few months!): Affiliate Moneymaking: http://affiliate-moneymaking.com/ I also have a few other blogs going, but these are the two main ones. So far, my earnings have not been spectacular, but I have been encouraged by the progress I am making, so it is inspiring me to keep going. Thanks, Yaro, for your great blog! I have gotten some good ideas from it. ![]() |

Hi Pat,
Wow... you sure have a lot of info on dogs! I'll definitely have to read deeper into your blog the next chance I get. Maybe I'll just RSS it, so I can have it all in my reader. I can see how you would gain experience in affiliate marketing. It looks like every blog recommends or talks about a product or service for dogs. The obvious question comes to mind: How do you keep up with all those affiliations? At first glance, it seems your primary Affiliate membership is with Amazon, but I did notice a few others. How is your readership? Do you get much feedback from your readers? I'll check out your blogs later... it's a little late where I am.

Sammy,
I used Amazon a lot because it was so easy to create links. Now I am figuring out how to create the links for my other affiliates, so hopefully I will have more of them. It is kind of hard to keep up with my affiliations, but it does help that many of them are either in Linkshare or Comission Junction. I can just sign in to those two accounts and see what is going on with all the companies they handle. I don't get as many comments as some blogs do. I think it is because I am not very good at replying to comments and encouraging them. Some bloggers like Yaro are very good at this. So far, I am doing much better with Adsense than with the other affiliates. Lately I have been adding a lot of photos from Amazon and others to my blog, just because it makes the posts more colorful. I have gotten a lot of clicks on these photos, but not too many sales. Pat |
