The Blog To End All Blogs

Just began working with The Blog To End All Blogs (http://gentrysherrill.blogspot.com) a few days ago. It began intentionally unfocused but I'm already starting to narrow my focus into blogging, specifically a chronicle of my attempts to improve the blog and their success (or failure).

I also run www.thehiphopjewelryshop.com, which is in limbo right now because my web development helper and I are having a tough time integrating Paypal Website Payments Pro.

Away from the internet I run a local tutoring agency/service called Grade A Tutors, and I'm looking into developing a customized essay service by the name of Apex Essays. (Not an editor, a writing service).

I guess that's it for now, look forward to hearing about you all as well.

Let's see... bling bling... spam(kidding)... and tutoring. Interesting combination of ventures.

I just got through reading your recent post about accidently spamming at Digg.com. Ouch... hard lesson learned right off the bat, huh? Definite no, no. Digg readers are very critical and one wrong statement... you're done!

You'll recover though.

As for the Hip Hop Jewelry Shop, do you make a fair amount of money from that? How and why did you you get involved in the bling bling business?

Apex Essays... would like to hear more about this one. I know I've seen "Apex" somewhere before. I believe it may be computers, not sure. Any reason why you chose that name?

Spamming Digg - like I said, not smart. But I guess I'll learn from the experience and whatnot. If nothing else it gave me something to post about.

THHJS so far hasn't done much, mainly because customers have no way to pay. We thought we had Paypal set up, then started getting order receipts with no money moving. So for now we're kind of at a dead end because we've followed all of paypal's instructions and money still isn't being transferred with orders. I think I'm like you in that I have a lot more ideas than expertise when it comes to the technical side of the internet.

The idea with Apex Essays is the general customized essay service. From what I can see most of these services are either pretty poor quality or pretty expensive, so I'm considering whether I want to try to enter that market as a cheaper, high quality alternative. That one is still a few months down the road at least.

The name Apex I've thought of sort of to symbolize high quality - I've always heard of Apex as meaning the "highest point" or "zenith" of whatever subject is in question.
