Hi All,
I want to introduce myself. I am Brett, the manager of Redback Internet Group. I am an Aussie living and currently working full time as an engineer in Chicago. I am tired of working for someone and so am building an income on line to leverage my way out of my job and build the life I want. So, that's the intro - now for a question! I have just purchased a blog getting around 75000 uniques per month and making $500 per month. The site is very clean with very few ads/paid links so I believe there is a lot of potential. However, I do not yet know a whole lot about blogging and all the ways to monetize blogs. Any advice on actions that will give me 80/20 benefits - ie 20% of actions that will give me 80% of revenue/traffic growth would be much appreciated. If there is any education you would recommend, that would be great too - I haven't signed up for Yaro's program yet but might. I gather it is quite long (26 wks right) and would prefer something a bit quicker right now. To put this in context, my aim or plan at the moment is to accumulate 3 or 4 similar blogs, throw in an ecommerce store or 2 (info and physical products), promote with social media/bum marketing/ppc etc etc and build enough income to quit my JOB. thanks, Brett |

Dear Brett,
I am glad to answer your question with more clarification just to picture the image for you. Online there is nothing called rich quick scheme, or rich overnight, just to be clear about this. Purchasing blog that has that huge traffic does not mean the income is or will be great. huge traffic does not mean huge profit always, there is a traffic and quality traffic, if you want just clicks there are software that can give you thousands of clicks, not hits real click and real people, but the problem is that this traffic and clicks are from people who are not interested by the website products, or its content it depends of what are you providing to your audience. I really wonder how a website with 75000 unique visits a month makes only $500!!!! even if this website is only has adsense may make more than that. I am really blur here, because I did not see your blog to judge it and give you my final view about it, need to see how is this blog monetized? And see the content and make review and suggestion, if can not see it, then can't review As a beginner blogger that just purchased a blog, I can't see any solution for you that resume 20% of actions that will give me 80%!!!! Your expectation is really very high, and in the hurry. Blogging is not really easy, it is a hard work that should be controlled daily, and comes with maintenance to push up your products (blog and content) As the introduction about yourself above, I believe that you have a great skills a engineer and CAN go to success with your blog if its niche related to your skills. Is your blog: Redback Internet Group ? I really can not recommend you any of the courses around to be honest with you, you know why? Because there is free information around to sharpen your knowledge, go for a paid course or program if all the other resources did not fit your need. Below you will see two links from YARO website that I highly recommend you to check out, and sure you will learn many things from them.
