I am in healthcare business and I have put in place a set of e-learning modules for fortnightly releases for my paid members. I have a strong domain expertise in my area of work. But my expertise in terms of putting up a website, creating mp3 podcasts, videos and integrating it into the paid offerings is a problem.
In my earlier assignment, I tried setting up a portal and my dependence on programmer was 100 percent and that is not a good situation to be in. It ultimately got messed up and we had to partways. Creating password protected e-book in pdf, mp3 podcasts, videos requires little amount of knowledge of graphics, pagemaking skills etc. I grossly lack that. My expertise is in making people to listen to what I say and can have a captive audience for that. My rich industry insight backed with solid 18year experience will be the backbone of this membership site. I have a few questions to you---- Is it essential to have a technical team of my own for regular updates ? If so, what kind of skill set does these people need to possess ? To start with, to what extent, I can run this as a single man show? Kathirvel |

Oh I can see what you want to point out. Well creating a membership site requires 3 Steps to successfully put it up. I have placed a link to where you can learn that.
Goodluck!
