Default according to wp 2.8 is the only safe version

Hi Yaro,

I found your site and am ready to start the installation of 2.6.3 . Wordpress says however: NONE of the older versions are safe to use, exept the latest 2.8.

what to do now because in your video you tell us to take 2.6.3.!
Hope to receive an answer soon.. like to start;-)

Greetings from Amsterdam,Holland

If you want to follow become a blogger step by step with everything looking exactly the same, you'll need version 2.6.3 since version 2.7 looks much different.

However, if you can get used to a few things being worded differently and slightly different navigation, then 90% of the videos still apply directly to what you see on the screen and the other 10% is pretty easy to figure out if you spend an hour getting used to the back end of wordpress.

Personally, I'd go with the up to date version of wordpress.

Why don't the videos use the 2.8 version?

Default Upgrading to 2.8 after following the tutorials

HI, i have loaded the 2.6.3 Wordpress as suggested by your videos, but really need to upgrade, although this doesn't appear so straight forward. Do you have an additional tutorial video to assist with this?
Many thanks
